The Traditional Menu

We serve the traditional cider house menu, prepared with the utmost respect for time-honored cuisine: cod omelette, cod in sauce, grilled txuletón (T-bone steak), and to finish, Idiazabal cheese with walnuts.

Upon request, we also offer grilled fish, as well as adapted menus for vegans or vegetarians, so that everyone can enjoy the Begiristain experience.

Txotx – Cider straight from the barrel

Throughout the entire season, at Begiristain you can enjoy cider poured at the txotx during lunch or dinner, tasting different ciders directly from the barrels.

This tradition, which is still alive today, began when customers — bar, restaurant, or gastronomic society owners — visited cider houses to taste the ciders before deciding which one to purchase.
