The Cider House

Modern cider house, renovated with several dining rooms surrounded by cider barrels (kupelas).

Basque culture and tradition in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Family Tradition from Ergoien

Iñaki Begiristain and Aloña Imaz, together with their children, are the heart of Begiristain Cider House — a family united by tradition and a love for natural cider.

The Cellars

At Begiristain Cider House, we have two cellars: one traditional, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner surrounded by chestnut wood barrels.

The other cellar, in contrast, combines old chestnut wood barrels with large square stainless steel tanks.

Tradition and modernity face to face.

The Dining Rooms

We have several dining rooms to suit your needs.

The first is a small dining room with tables set beside the chestnut wood barrels, so you can enjoy the txotx just a step away.

The second dining room is a more intimate space, located next to an old family cider press and also close to the cellars.

And the last dining room is the largest space in the cider house, where you can enjoy a more social atmosphere — and of course, it is close to our wood and stainless steel cellar.

The Bar

We have a bar area where we can prepare coffees and a variety of drinks for you to enjoy after lunch or dinner.
